Impact Assessment and Colonization Process of Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) in Kiwifruit and Cherry Orchards by Logan C. Moore

Logan is the first student of the University of Georgia (UGA) that has begun studying at the University of Padova as part of a dual master degree program in Sustainable Agriculture. He will be spending the next 18 months conducting research on the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug Halyomorpha halys (Stål), an invasive pest in both USA and Italy

Chasing the outbreak – Travels of a forest entomologist by Deepa Pureswaran

Deepa is visiting scientist from June to December 2017 at DAFNAE-Entomology from Canadian Forest Service Laurentian Forestry Center Quebec. She is an expert in forest entomology focusing on outbreak ecology and in biological invasions.

Human disturbance and upward expansion of plants in a warming climate by Lorenzo Marini

Lorenzo is a researcher at DAFNAE and will present the results of a recently published study in Nature Climate Change on plant range expansion in a warming climate.
